Frequently Asked Questions about Drug & Alcohol Testing

1. What will I need to bring with me?

For drug and alcohol testing, we request that you bring some form of identification. For example, a Driver’s License, Passport etc.

2. What is a 5 panel drug test?

A 5 panel drug test is a test for five common street drugs like marijuana, acetaminophen, etc.

3. Which drug test is suggested for pre employment & probation?

An 8 panel drug test is highly preferred by employers and probation officers throughout the state of Colorado.

4. How soon can I expect my results?

We do rapid drug tests in which the results are ready within 5 minutes. We also do lab based drug and alcohol tests upon which the test sample is sent to our laboratory and the results are available within 3-5 business days.

5. Can I only be tested for one drug such as LSD or Marijuana?

Yes, we have a specific drug test that is lab based where you choose which drug you would like to be tested for, the cost for it is $20-25. And results are ready in 3-5 business days.

6. Can I be tested for alcohol (ETG/ETS) only?

Yes, we have an alcohol only test that tests for ethyl glucuronide (EtG) and ethyl sulfate (EtS) only.

7. Do you offer DOT pre employment drug screenings?

No, we only offer non-DOT (Department Of Transportation) testing at this time.

8. What drugs do you test for?

We test for the following drugs; amphetamines, benzodiazepines, cocaine, opiates, tetrahydrocannabinol (marijuana), phencyclidine, oxycodone, meth-amphetamine, barbiturates, alcohol, methadone, and propoxyphene.

9. How are the drug tests collected?

Currently, we only do urine based drug tests at this time.

10. Do I have to be a certain age to take a drug test?

You have to be 18 years of age or older. If a minor, we request that you be accompanied by an adult.
